The house is on two main levels on the ground floor: 7 double/twin ensuite bedrooms and a small lounge. Upstairs there is another ensuite double bedroom. The main lounge has a large TV with Free-Sat and a wood burning stove. In the corner is a sturdy bar where celebrities such as Nick Nairn, Ali McCoist, Carol Smillie and Bob Shields have all enjoyed a few drams during their visits. The lounge opens to an elevated deck with BBQ, looking over the River Druie. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fantastic dining table capable of sitting 16 persons.
To the rear of the house there is a grassed area; the rest of the gardens are naturally wild and lead to the river bank and into the adjacent woods.
The river is a great place for summer fun, where children often spend the entire day. However, we must emphasise that the Druie can become dangerous following rain, and that children should always be supervised.
We have wireless broadband installed. Please feel free to bring your laptop and use this facility. We shall provide you with the WEP key on application.
